Faraz Chahybakhsh studied Computer Engineering at Zand University in Iran and is currently completing his Master’s degree in Digital Transformation at the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund. Since April 2024, he has worked there as a Research Assistant in Cloud & DevOps, contributing to the deployment and operation of microservice-based applications in cloud and on-premise environments and building container-based test and experimentation environments. As part of his project work, he conducted an experimental analysis of energy consumption in microservice applications across different infrastructures. Faraz has been part of the Data Integration Center since 2026 and is interested in cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker as well as backend development with Java and Spring Boot, and aims to further grow in cloud technologies.
