Sara completed her master’s degree in medical engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen and is currently studying human medicine. In her master’s thesis, she focused on the profiling and integration of medical time series—such as EEG or ECG—into the FHIR standard. She is currently continuing to work on the development and adaptation of special FHIR profiles for various applications within the framework of research projects.
