Tobias studied Computer Science with a specialization on machine learning and robotics at Bielefeld University. Before joining the UME, he was a research assistant at the University of Bonn and later acted as a software engineer at the German Aerospace Center where he participated in the development of a distributed workflow engine for scientific workflows. In 2018, Tobias joined the research group of Felix Nensa as a research assistant at the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology. He is interested in software engineering in general and pushes towards a harmonization of infrastructure and standards within all projects.
