GeMTeX has started

The project GeMTeX has officially started. The main goal of GeMTeX is to create a large annotated text collection of German medical texts from daily patient care. The plan is to collect documents from the electronic health records (ePA) of six university hospitals. Using natural language processing (NLP), the documents will be prepared and anonymized. After anonymization, we will enable the sharing of these documents and create new resources for research and development. Over the next three years, the UME will collaborate with German university hospitals as part of the Medizininformatik-Initiative (MII). Read more
